The
Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine (KSCCM) was established in 1980
and entered upon its 25th anniversary this year.
KSCCM has grown rapidly in spite of short history and consist of about 100 life members, 300 regular members and above 500 associate members in the year of 2004,
KSCCM do varous and lots of works for contributing to scientific development of critical care medicine and standardization of intensive care units of Korea.
For the purpose of this, KSCCM do valuable works such as holding annual scientific meeting, publishing journal of KSCCM, and holding international scientific congress.
KSCCM hosted the 13th Congress of the Western Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine in June, 2004.
The joint scientific congress of KSCCM and Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine have been held annually since 2001.
It is my sincerest hope that you will gain a greater understanding od the activities of KSCCM through this website.
Your advice for the development of KSCCM would be appreciated on any occasion.
